Hermoine, from Stony Stratford, was the winner of an art competition run by planning experts David Lock Associates as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations in Milton Keynes last year.
Its mk50trees.com initiative showcased 49 of the city’s 22 million trees and invited the city’s schoolchildren to create a piece of art to reflect the occasion and win the opportunity to plant a tree to complete the campaign.
"MK50trees.com has been one of our best received public engagement activities – it has been a real delight to be a big part of such an important year in the city’s history,” said David Lock Associates partner Simon Collier.
