Our International Trade Service is provided by our colleagues at Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, a British Chamber of Commerce accredited issuer of export documentation. Chamber members receive a discount on all international trade services, which include export documentation services such as the issue of ATA Carnets – simplified customs documents that act as a passport to take your goods overseas for temporary demonstration or exhibition without paying duty or taxes. A new online service allows companies to obtain approved documents faster.
Last year, our International Trade team processed 15,273 documents which were essential in allowing our members to ship their goods – worth a total of more than £0.3 billion – abroad.
That is not all we offer. You can also get help with translation and interpretation, credit references on data from 190 countries, links to external expertise, international news and the latest on compliance issues and shipping, all of which will reduce the risk to you and your business.
We run training courses in international trade documentation and, in addition, supplement these with seminars and workshops on topics of interest to the international trader.
