Business quizzers raise £15,000 for Willen Hospice at Brain Game

A total 20 teams battled it out over eight rounds in subjects ranging from arts and travel to sport and music.

In a close competition, Workforce Software Ltd showed they knew their stuff as their team Workforce Warriors took the champions trophy home.

The event was held in the Mercedes Benz of Milton Keynes showroom at Kingston. It included a live auction and prize draw, both offering fantastic prizes donated by local businesses and supporters.

Willen Hospice’s head of events and community Sarah Sweet-Rowley said: “We had a fabulous evening at Brain Game. It is a great chance to dress up, socialise and have a bit of fun with the quiz and auction.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have raised such an incredible amount of money on the night – this will all go towards supporting Willen Hospice, where we need to raise £9 a minute to support our care

“We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along to take part, and of course to our wonderful volunteers, sponsors and supporters who made the event a success.”
