Volkswagen Financial Services Ltd is to build a new 100,000 sg ft, state-of-the-art head office on a redevelopment site in Tongwell.
Joint managing directors Graham Wheeler and Lisa Stacey were joined at the ceremony yesterday (Wednesday) by Milton Keynes Council chief executive David Hill and Mayor Cllr Brian White.
The new building is being constructed on the former River Island site in Delaware Drive.
It will be a visually striking new premises, said a VWFS spokesman, providing space for the company to grow into over the next 20 years.
“This secures the future of Volkswagen Financial Services as a major contributor to the economy of Milton Keynes,” the spokesman added.
Work is expected to be completed early next year.
