Two charged over sex attacks

Robert Horne, aged 25, from the Stantonbury area, was charged with two counts of sexual assault relating to incidents on May 2 and June 5.

He was jointly charged with Gavyn Bull-Jones, 21, from the Crownhill area, with attempted rape relating to an incident on May 27.

Detective Chief Inspector  Joe Kidman, leading the investigation, said the assaults had had a big impact on the business community, particularly women who work in Milton Keynes. An incident in Downs Barn on June 17 was still the subject of an active investigation, he added.

“The description issued by us for this offence is still relevant and important to the on-going investigation. High visibility police patrols on the redways will continue and we would advise people to remain vigilant.”

Anyone with information about the offence at Downs Barn can call Milton Keynes police station via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111. You can also give information to the police in person by visiting any police station.
