Milton Keynes Sporting Lunch Club hosted a special rugby-themed event at Jurys Inn as the Rugby World Cup got under way.
Two rising local sports stars, para archer Megan Fosberry and badminton player Molly Chapman received cheques from the lunch’s organiser SportsAid, which raises money to help young sports stars to fund their training, equipment and other requirements of their sport.
Megan and Molly are pictured after receiving their cheques from Danielle Sheppard of the lunch’s main sponsr Barwood.
Also pictured are speakers, former Wales rugby international John Taylor, Ireland’s Lynne Cantwell and ex-England players Max Duthie and Jon Sleightholme.
