Politicians face business in debate on innovation

The discussion has been organised by the city’s technology forum Biztech. The panel for ‘Ask The Politician’ will feature Milton Keynes Council leader Cllr Andrew Geary (pictured), Cllr Jenni Ferrans (LibDem) and Emily Darlington, Labour Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Milton Keynes North.
 
The future technology infrastructure of the city and the approach to existing technology-related growth affects all businesses in Milton Keynes and this event puts business people and politicians together for the first time to thrash out the real issues.
 
The debate takes place on April 3 at 11am at the Hilton Hotel, Kents Hill.
 
Each speaker on the panel will speak for up to five minutes before a debating session on various topics such as broadband access, the Smart City initiative, procurement, small business engagement and innovation incubators, plus other topics posed by businesses attending. 
 
There will also be a chance for networking and to informally talk to the panel at lunch.
 
Places at this event are limited due to space. The cost is £10 for Biztech members and £25 for non-members including lunch, It is expected to be a popular event so pre-booking is advised at www.biztech.org.uk
