Parks Trust launches corporate supporters scheme

Companies including pizza giant Domino’s, law firm Kimbells Freeth, Handelsbanken bank, business advisers Deloitte and branding specialist Visual Identity were among guests at a business breakfast to hear how they and their staff can become involved.

Parks Trust chief executive David Foster said: “We are looking to build more, deeper and longer relationships with businesses and to broaden the partnerships we already have in place.

"Working with the Parks Trust and connecting to our brand can be great for local businesses as staff and customers really appreciate it when they see a company put something back in to the local community in such a tangible way.”

The corporate supporters scheme provides a variety of ways – ranging from event sponsorship to team building work parties – for businesses to become involved in its charitable work. Businesses can benefit by strengthening their position as socially responsible organisations and improving brand awareness.

Mr Foster said: “Getting staff out of the office or off the factory floor to do something practical for the local environment is really popular, gives them a sense of achievement, and makes them think well of their company for having arranged something so worthwhile.”
