Stephen Norman pictured takes up his post on February 1, succeeding Rory Harvey who has elected to leave the business at the end of next month.
Mr Norman has been senior vice president, chief sales and marketing officer of Vauxhall’s new owners Groupe PSA since 2016, having joined as chief marketing officer in 2014.
In his new capacity, he will be responsible for leading Vauxhall Motors and Opel Ireland business and development, in line with Groupe PSA’s new strategic plan PACE!.
The plan aims to make the company profitable, electric and global.
