The Export MK event, on March 23 at Stadium MK, aims to provide a forum for small and medium-sized businesses to gather the confidence, contacts and knowledge to start exporting and highlight the opportunities around the globe to those already trading overseas.
Up to 30 organisations will be exhibiting on the day, including the Department of International Trade, Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce and UK Export Finance.
The event is free for SMEs to attend and will include speakers and workshops to cover all aspects of exporting.
The MPs, who respectively represent the Milton Keynes North and South constituencies, are urging businesses to look at exporting as part of their growth strategies. With the UK Government focusing on building a Global Britain this is the time for smaller businesses to take advantage of the opportunities and consider exporting, they said.
Export MK takes place on March 23, 10am-4pm, at Stadium MK and is sponsored by Visionary Finance and IT servicers and solutions specialist Tech Mahindra.
