The £30 million building sits behind the John Lewis store and has the latest technology including an automatic number plate recognition system that works with a new app due to launch in January that will take automatic payment.
There are also smart parking bay sensors and ‘find my car’ technology to guide visitors to available bays and later remind them where they parked.
