Man Day puts networking in top gear

The occasion was the annual Man Day event organised by networking group Bedfordshire Businesswomen and began the celebrations of the group’s 25th anniversary.
Pro-driver David Charlton took 27 delegates on a tra
ck tour around the proving ground, while James Bayliss of Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Road Victims trust chief executive Steve Ottaway – the group’s chosen charity for 2013 – gave presentations on safety behind the wheel.

Colin Gleghorn, founder and managing director of specialist training company Fourmative, also reflected on his life in business and the importance of training.

The event raised £740 for the Road Victims Trust. BBW president Amanda Murrell said: “Millbrook Venues offered us something totally different for this year’s event and enabled us to give delegates much more time to network and increase their new business opportunities.”
