A serious fire in January at the firm’s former premises in Kensworth near Dunstable left the factory and deep freeze warehouse badly damaged.
But David Berryman has now agreed a lease on the 24,716 sq ft warehouse at the airport.
The firm’s managing director Rachel Collins said: “After the devastating event of the fire, our main objective was ensuring that we could get our production site back up and running as quickly as possible.
“The site in Luton gives us great access to local logistics and means we can keep all of our staff who live locally, employed and happy.”
Executive Park owner the Industrial Property Investment Fund were represented by national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton.
Dan Jackson, associate director – industrial & logistics, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to help David Berryman find their new premises.
“Luton continues to prove itself as a cost effective location for occupiers and this latest transaction follows a number of other companies that have decided to relocate to Luton in recent months.”
David Berryman will also benefit from the upgrades to Junction 10a, which are seen as a key project for the wider airport expansion. Rachel Collins said: “I am thrilled that we have been able to find such a great site and with all the new developments in the area it will be perfect for our business.”
