The Bedford Swan hosted the annual gathering of the Coach Tourism Council and used the opportunity to showcase the hotel’s riverside location and arrange the first charter of Bedford’s new Community Boat to take delegates on a trip along the Great Ouse.
Hotel general manager Dominic Mills said: "This was great news for the our hotel, for the town and for our hotel group which has been chosen out of hundreds to stage this event.
"Tourism is vital to Bedford and it was a rare opportunity nto make sure Bedford becomes a destination town for tourists."
Bedford Swan Hotel is part of the Experience Bedfordshire network of businesses promoting the county to visitors.
