Vital Signs MK is being run by Milton Keynes Community Foundation and is part of a national pilot scheme that is due to report in October.
MKCF director of programmes Bart Gamber said the results would help to identify the strengths of Milton Keynes and areas for improvement. “Our aspiration is for the Vital Signs MK report to be a useful reference, helping us all to focus our attention and resources where they are needed most in our community,” he added.
The project is based on a successful model developed by Canadian Community Foundations. Milton Keynes Community Foundation is working with the Open University, the National House Building Council, Community Action:MK and Start-Up Research.
