Forum puts business resilience through its paces

Exercise Winchester will take place on October 22 at Windmill Hill Golf Centre in Bletchley and, judging on previous events, is expected to attract dozens of representatives from local organisations.

The event, run by the Milton Keynes Business Resilience Forum, is the latest to be hosted by the council team as part of the drive to raise awareness of business resilience across the borough.
On the day, organisations will be put through their paces in an interactive workshop and will hear from a top speaker from Public Health England.  The £25 fee covers operating costs and includes a free lunch.
Cllr Rob Middleton (pictured), council cabinet member responsible for the local economy, said: “A proper business resilience plan can make the crucial difference between a company sinking or surviving in the event of a crisis.
“Forward planning is vital. I would urge business bosses across Milton Keynes to think very seriously about attending this exercise. This could be the best £25 they ever invest. ”
