The Rockstar Group is to host the session at Milton Keynes College’s Silbury Campus in Central Milton Keynes for entrepreneurs with a business or business idea and who are looking for both mentoring and financial support.
The event on Saturday November 2 includes free mentoring and a low-cost loan focusing on turning business ideas into a reality.
Experienced entrepreneur and mentor Richard Cook from Milton Keynes, will be attending the incubator to talk to and advise entrepreneurs.
Mr Cook has made a career out of starting businesses from scratch, building them up and successfully selling them, including the Cash-a-Cheque chain of stores that he sold last year to Money Shop.
He also set up and grew one of the largest and successful independently owned chain of estate agents before selling to the Alliance & Leicester .
The Rockstar Group, the UK’s leading private mentoring organisation that supportsentrepreneurs and businesses launch and growth, is driving the success of the government’s Youth Start Up-Loans Programme, having cut red tape and connected with some of the UK’s most exciting entrepreneurs.
The £112 million Government Start-Up Loan initiative for aspiring entrepreneurs has seen an average of 42 start-up loans a day being approved, with a projection of 10,000 this year and a target of 30,000 over the next three years which is projected to create 100,000 new jobs as a result.
With the 18-30 age cap removed as of this month, this groundbreaking initiativehas made the idea of starting a business a tangible reality for thousands of individuals.
Start-up loans Chairman James Caan, a former Dragon on the BBC series Dragons Den, said: “The mentoring which the Start-up loans scheme offers is invaluable. The value of a mentor can mean the difference between success and failure."
Prime Minister David Cameron has backed the student-style loans for young entrepreneurs in an attempt to tackle youth unemployment and facilitate enterprise across the UK and stimulate growth.
