Recognising the need to train, develop and inspire young people to look at employment opportunities in Milton Keynes has been a topic of discussion at many business gatherings in recent months and with the support from other local businesses the competition will recognise and reward the up and coming fresh talent within our secondary schools.
Students will be invited to submit poster entries into the Think Grid competition, telling the judges what Milton Keynes can offer them in the world of work, what will inspire them to stay in Milton Keynes and what they hope their future employment opportunities will look like.
Entrants will need to register their initial interest in the competition by logging on to www.thinkgrid-cc.co.uk by Friday 15th January.
Final artwork should be uploaded by 12 noon, Friday 12th February.
Entries will be shortlisted to a final ten and final judging will take place on Friday 11th March.
The shortlisted entries will be displayed at an awards presentation to be held at the Venue Cranfield on Thursday 17th March where the winners will be announced and presented with some excellent prizes.
Students, parents, teachers, sponsors and key business people will be invited to attend the awards ceremony.
