Ride for Willen undertook a series of fundraising activities in the run up to the challenge, including clothes sales, a strawberry stall at the Big Olney Food Festival, selling wrist bands in shops across the area, an auction night and an art sale.
The riders funded the trip themselves and 100% of the money raised went to Willen Hospice.
They also received corporate sponsorship from national accountancy practice The MPA Group, based in Olney.
The group has grown rapidly over the last few years and now operates nationally. It has plans to build its permanent HQ in Olney and supports a number of local charities and community initiatives.
MPA Group founder and director Mike Price said: “As local employers, Willen Hospice has touched us all at The MPA Group in some way or another; so my business partner Dave Pepper and I were thrilled when the opportunity to support this incredible charity arose.
“We are also avid cyclists and having just completed a similar ride ourselves, can truly appreciate what the team experienced.”
