They are carrying out a night-time audit of the state of lighting in underpasses, parking areas and the central and outer boulevards.

Milton Keynes city centre manager Melanie Beck said: “As the nights get longer, it is important for us to review the surroundings to ensure the safety of staff, residents and visitors to Central Milton Keynes."
She urged businesses with any concerns to report them via the online reporting system on the Milton Keynes Council website www.milton-keynes.gov.uk and click Register and Report.
