GSS has grown considerably in the past few years, with the new office in Central Milton Keynes joined by another in Newcastle and larger premises in Gloucester and Harrogate.
Mr Lyons said: “We have been planning for David’s retirement for the past few years and have ensured that the right management structure is in place to continue to serve our clients’ needs. We are looking forward to further enhancing our services and the new challenges this will bring.”
He has been a partner at the Kettering-based practice for 21 years. Managing partner Ian Bray joined GSS in 1993 and was promoted to partner in 2006.“Having had the opportunity to build our careers at GSS, Tom and I are looking forward to coaching, leading and developing the next generation to allow the partnership to continue to grow and prosper,” he said.

Mr Allsop said: “Both Tom and Ian have established their entire careers with GSSArchitecture and have been a major part of the success of the practice. There are challenges ahead and I’m certain that their leadership will have a huge contribution to the future development of the practice as a whole.”
