Networking group aims to attract new members

The breakfast, lunchtime and evening Business Beacon clubs operate across the county and have been operating since 1995.

Now founder Pam Woods (pictured) has decided to encourage even more businesses to join the groups by allowing anyone to attend.

She said: "I found that making a 12- or 24-month commitment was just too much to ask of people in these challenging times and, taking a consensus of our hundreds of guests and supporters from over the years, we decided to make ours a more informal arrangement for business people.”

Business Beacon regularly welcomes leading local figures, including MPs and chief executives of multi-million pound business as speakers.
