Franklins Solicitors has been appointed to the Lloyds TSB Group Legal Panel 2009 for commercial and large regional corporate work. The exclusive panel of lawyers assists with commercial agreements where the value is usually in excess of £1 million.
The firm has also been chosen by Yorkshire Bank to sit on its legal panel to assist with corporate and commercial property transactions in 2009.
Simon Long (pictured), Franklins’ partner in charge of corporate services, said the appointment by Yorkshire Bank was a another major achievement for the firm while the decision by Lloyds TSB meant it would be working with the bank for a third consecutive year.
He added: “Lloyds TSB looks set to become a new banking giant and we are delighted that our relationship with them over the past two years has ensured an on-going place on the legal panel for next year. We see our role in assisting with large corporate loans, re-financing arrangements, business overdrafts and financial restructuring as being of even greater importance in the current economic downturn.”
