Aspiring entrepreneurs in Milton Keynes have the chance to pitch their business ideas directly to some of the world’s leading investors and mentors as the Dream Machine arrives in the city.
The mobile platform, created by entrepreneur Richard Hayes and backed by Sir Richard Branson and HelpBnk founder Simon Squibb, is at The Gamechanger Kitchen in Giffard Park today and tomorrow (3–4 September).
At the back of the Dream Machine is the ‘Doorbell of Dreams’ — a video doorbell where would-be founders record a 60-second pitch. Each pitch is shared online and reviewed by a network of investors and business leaders.

Successful pitchers could gain mentorship, funding, and access to business support through Virgin StartUp and HelpBnk.
“This gives anyone, anywhere the opportunity to pitch their dream — no networks, no gatekeepers, just a chance to be heard,” said Simon Squibb.
The Dream Machine has already toured towns and cities across the UK, inspiring thousands of entrepreneurs. Its stop in Milton Keynes gives local founders the opportunity to secure the backing they need to launch or scale their ideas.
The Dream Machine is at The Gamechanger Kitchen, Giffard Park, Milton Keynes, until Wednesday 4 September.
